Saturday Feb 12th Bbq In Scottsdale, Come One, Com
#1
As some of you may remember, Tom93R1 and I had a BBQ at a park by my house last year during the summer which was fairly hot. It's not super warm out, but after noon its very comfortable, and should be even nicer at the predicted 5 degrees warmer.
Weather forecast says 72F for a high and should be sunny. Sounds very nice as long as the sun is out
I was thinking have people show up around 12 noon or so, and then just BBQ at who knows when.
I'm having some family and some friends, but hopefully there will be plenty of rotary people there. Almost positive that RX people will far outnumber the others.
Plus I'm getting my Turbo II delivered late tonight so why the hell not have something to show it off with
Plans may change due to weather, but so far it looks just fine.
All I need is an RSVP of you and any and all guests, and what you'll be bringing.
Maybe someone and myself can split the cost of the hamburger patties and hamburger buns.
OK, whos coming?!? And you Tucson people should join us, a few tucsoners made it last year and it was fairly fun, we had about 27 people show up.
The Park is located in South Scottsdale.
Pima Park is located at Thomas Rd and 86th St just a block west of the loop 101.
Just take the 101 to the scottsdale area and exit on Thomas Rd, go West past the first light (which is Pima Rd), and turn Right at 86th St.
Here is a yahoo map of the area.

E-mail me if youd like my phone number and have any questions or anything.

And there is a basketball and volleyball court. I have a basketball, maybe get together a beach volleyball game?
