No.. I spend about 4 bux just to drive out there.. its like 30 miles from Santa Monica.. But I will most likely go over Sunday..

Well, the engine is in there.. Now I just need to make brackets.. But the friggin oil pan is deep so the engine sits a bit angled.. Gonna get some first gen mounts and try them.. if not I will have to go with Mikes advice and get a GSL SE oil pan and 12a front cover..

There's a junk yard out near where I live... I can go out there on tues, they have a 12A sittin there and a tranny for it and such. They also have 2nd gen parts... tell me what you need and I'll go diggin for it.

Well, the pan itself has about an inch of clearance the way I have it now, but the tranny hits the tunnel.. so to drop it I would have to notch the crossmember, or modify the FC pan. Or leave the engine leaning back at an angle.. Think that would hurt it much..

Thanx for the offer streetrally, if you go Tuesday and they have a first gen GSL-SE which would have a 13b.. I would like the oil pan and the front cover with the engine mounts..

Just let me know..

the factory motors are leaned at an angle i dont think its that important, to a point

Any angle is ok. The only thing you have to worry about is the oil pickup tube.

Cool, so I will try and see how I can get it to work now.. The angle on it now is only a few degrees.. so I guess I should be ok..
