Old "new" member introduction
#1
Posted the following in RX7forum.com as a new member:
Informative forum. As I seek info from those of you in the know, hopefully I can give back just the same. Looking forward to any future track events or gathering this club may provide. What does it take to become a member? Lurked the "big list" in the past and attended some of their major events. Co-founded the original Northeast RX7 Club (anyone around?) of which has now become the TristateRX7.
Brief History: 93 Silver Touring in 96, sold later along with other toys to consolidate for a home and new family. Cried till 2000 when I acquired a Black R1w 42k (drove daily but now a project track car) and found a CYM w 39k to replace as my "dry day" daily. Already have met some of you as I was able to steal some time from my schedule to check out last year's barbecue. In fact, I owe you fellas some footage. Waiting patiently for this coming season.
Do members typically post at both sites?

Well the tri-state club basically died, website was never updated and meets were few and far between. Now Vosko and I have been stirring up some life into this area. We had a big BBQ last summer which turned out great, a second one is in the works for this summer, and we try and have meets on a bi-monthly basis. So the tri-state is coming back to life. If you'd like to see some pics and videos of the bbq go to :
