why does the animated gif i use as my avatar look spastic? it didn't use to look like that. it looks fine in any image viewer, or if i load it directly into a browser independent of this site.

it appears to do that because the avatar shrink the image down a little bit, making it appear a little offish (IE: the lines don't draw straight like they used to, and it plays tricks on our eyes)

fixed it. its a little bit more blurry, but at least its a little smoother
