Ok, so im buying these wheels from a guy in dallas, these pics are of the wheels on his car, But it might as well be mine, since my fd is VR also, only thing is his is Touring, mine is R1. Anyhoo.. the wheels are Fittipaldi 500ss in 17x8.5 front 17x10 rear with 235/45R17 front and 275/40R17 rear. The offsets are +48 front, +43 rear. I will probably send them to get the centers powedercoated gloss black and have the lip high polished. Just postin to see what you guys think about em. And ya think i should do the black center thing?

 

I voted no.. but maybe it is just cuz the tires seem a bit big.. and I don't like the center caps.. But in black they would be very noice.. Maybe next time I should read the whole post before I vote..

 

they will look totally different in black.. but any opinion is appreciated

 

i think they look "bulky" and "fat"....if you understand where i am coming from. the center of the wheel looks too thick to me, and i like 18's better, but if YOU like them, that is all that matters......YOUR taste NOT ours.....but, like you said, opinions are always good....

 

Hate to say it, but I voted no too. They look like a heavy wheel trying to look light. Not sure that makes much sense, but it's all I could come up with this morning.



If you like 'em, then get 'em...just cause some dicks across the country don't like 'em is no reason to not get 'em.

 

yeah, im gettin them regardless.. cause its just flat out a GOOD deal, gettin them really cheap and they have new tires. Just wanna see everyones opinions

 

They'd be badass with a fatty lip in the back. Not too bad though.
