Thumbs up

I just purchesed a set of the TEIN lowering springs. the S Tech have a drop of approx 1.5" all around with a rate of 436 front and 324 rear.

What i need to know is now i have to get some shocks through the winter. What will be my best choice for a firm set up? I want to get as close to coilover firmness as possible because i will be tracking the car in the future, but will also be steet driven.

well i personally dont have any experiences with coilovers... so to prevent my fenders from rubbing i set my tockico shocks on #5 which is the stiffest of the 5 adjustments..... its plenty stiff now, and when dragon, who has a lot of experience with coilovers, and i were trying to tune the car, he actually said the car feels like it has coilovers.

i also have pfs springs.

koni was my original choice for shocks thats why i said koni first, but i couldnt pass up the deal i got on the tokicos

I just finished reading that the KONIs are adjustable in load, but also in hight. If these are adjustable in hight, how do you know what perch to put them on so the car doesnt end up being to low? The TEINS are a approx 1.5" drop so what setting do you go with on the shocks?

PS: why the hell do pics show up in the post that i didnt submit LOL

They are pics that were attached to posts that got lost in the hack. They're re-attaching themselves to new posts of the same post ID number. We call them 'orphaned' images.
