I know about wheel hop on my 86 NA. I had to replace the rear struts. Problem is gone. I bet you already checked your struts though. I'm new to the rx-7 thing so it took me awhile to get the feel of the car. Go over some speed bumps just fast enough to tell if you are getting a second bounce. I have worked on many different kinds of cars and these by far are have the tightest suspensions. It is a very subtle second bounce, not even noticable if you bounce the car with your body weight. I raced the car at the local Autocross this last weekend and the wheel hop is gone.



Just to note the car did have Tokico "standard" struts on the rear... they were just worn out from the previous owner.
