Brake Bleeding: Speed Bleeders
#1
Anyone here have experience using the Speed Bleeder?
I want to get a set for my 3rd gen, but don't know if these things will leak or not. Any reviews or recommendations? Thanks!

ive had them on various cars..
but what ive found is that after a great amount of bleeding...
for example.. if you regularly attend autox or track events that will require more than the normal amount of annual brake bleeeding..
that the teflon coating on the threads will strip..
youll need to recoat and if i recall correctly need to bake it on as well..
and i wouldnt use teflon tape as a temp solution..

they sell the sealing liquid on the website, and instructions on how to "bake" it on using a heat gun.
I think I'm gonna get em. Should I bother getting the Stainless steel ones, or are the regular ones good enough?

i dont consider it a one person bleed..
as i like to pay close attention to the air pockets when purging..
imho the SB advantage is easier bleeding without the hassle of manually closing and opening the bleed screw..
the solution for monitoring with a single person would be a longer clear bleed hose..
there are also pressure bleeders available..thinkin bout tryin those..
