Thumbs down

If you're not familiar with the 12 Hrs. of Sebring, it's one of THE great motorsports races. It's an American LeMans Series (ALMS) which will feature factory backed cars from Audi, Panoz, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, and others. It's also one of the world's greatest parties, with the wild festivities kicking off on Thursday and finishing on Sunday. The race starts of Saturday at 11am I believe. Speaking of wild. Wild on E! will be there complete with a hot host to film the festivities.

IN ADDITION, there will be an event called Mazda Extreme Street. For full details, go to www.mazdaextremestreet.com. The Mazda Rotary Car Club of Florida will also be present and it should be quite a good time with an extremely large turnout of cars. Since Sebring is centrally located, it'll be an easier drive for those of us living on the fringes of Florida. Just posting a head's up. I believe the event is March 15. Also, if you sign up ahead of time, you'll get an awesome deal on admission. I believe the fee is $45 which is well below a general admissions ticket.

Remember that I never had a filter on the turbo? Well a bit of sand did a lot of damage unfortunately. It's really not all that bad as I've been dying to rip apart and rebuild a rotary for about a year now :-) I'm polishing up my housings tonight!

Just sending this to the top. For the benefit of any MRCCFL members who may not have heard go here - http://www.mrccfl.com/sebring12hrs.html

This will be THE race of the year and we will have quite a turnout from rotary fans. And if you really want to have some fun, come Friday and camp in the infield Friday night.
