April 24th, grand opening/car show
#1
Hello,
My name is Joe Bryan Payne III, everyone calls me Joe Bryan.
My father and I have opened a local garage/performance and race shop here in Pelzer, SC. We will be a NAPA full care auto service center for general car maintenance called HPMotors. We will also have a performance and race fabrication shop in the back know as Dread Nought Racing. It will offer everything from full race car fabrication and rental to performance and cosmetic modification of customers street cars.
We plan to have a grand opening April, 24th (It’s a Saturday). To kick things off right and get our face out to the local community we’d like to invite the local car clubs out for a modest car show/ meet and greet. We plan to be there from 10 until around 6 that evening. We’ll have free bar-b-que from 12 until 3 or everyone eats it all.
My father is the rotary guy. I have a good working knowledge of them, but he knows far more. Finding a place that is knowledgeable on rotaries is a little difficult so hopefully some of you upstate South Carolina rotor-motors will swing by to meet some of the other clubs and learn our location. It should be a laid back, good-natured atmosphere where you can make some new friends. We'd love for you to come out and have fun.
Thanks!

Pics....I'll harass pop about that and see what I can dig up. We have a first gen with a four port 13b from an rx-4 and a limited slip from a GSL model. That's our current project car. It has Racing Beat exhaust with a Holley four barrel on it that we don't like. We're working on an adapter plate to put the intake manifold and fuel injection from a turbo II on it. We plan on using a D.I.Y. mega-squirt system and eventually adding a turbo. So as that progresses I'll try and add pictures of that.
