Hey I need some info on how to hook up the lines for the waste gate on a single turbo setup. I did not receive any info on this when I got the turbo, so I am kinda lost as to where they should plug in at.

Where do the lines go from the W/G diaphragm? One side has to provide pressure to open it but where do they go??

Thanks

And since I am on the subject, where do the water lines come from and plug back into the coolant housings for the turbo if it is water cooled?

I am assuming it comes from the upper nipple, through the turbo, and into the bottom nipple that is looped?

That's how I did my coolant. After all, that's where the stock ones hook up.

OK that helps, at least now I have a concept of how it is supposed to be run.

Except my engine doesn’t have any valves or pistons. J/K

So I was told I could use one of the stock solenoids to run the waste gate, is this possible and which one is used to run it? And how does it plug in? it is obviously adjustable through the PFC correct?

I am more inclined to think I should probably get a boost controller, but which one I am not sure even after reading every thread on the topic for the last year.

I would buy the Apex'i boost control kit myself.

...or a PROFEC B. Here, I run the AVC-R and the PFC and smacked myself in the head over how much simpler and cheaper getting the Apex'i boost controller would have been. If they had it available back then.

But if I had it to do over again, the damn Profec is rock solid. When it's hooked up right, of course!

Could you describe a little bit about what it does better compared to the others please.

Is it just that it is set up more logically than the others?
