People have told me the 60-1 is the same as the T04E/B/S, so why do they list them both on Turboneticsinc.com? Thanks

different turbo makers like to call different turbos different things, like hks; ta45turbine wheel and tv51 compressor wheel = t51, but a garrett t51 is different. if we were looking at a garrett catalog it would make a lot more sense, most of the parts come from garrett.

I know, but why does Turbonetics list the same turbo under the T04 family and the 60-1 family? (they look different, too)

I have a moded 60-1 they are diff. They use a T04 housing but the internals are very diff. Like mine is a big shaft tangental with a p trim 3 inch inlet and a .76 a/r. That is diff from the T04 plus it has diff internals. the a/r side will be a 1.15 soon.

They are all T4 series standard shaft turbos and all use the same ex housing, bearing set, center cartrides and shafts (except the B which uses a slightly shorter shaft) The only diffrences in them is the size of the compressor housing..

So the 60-1 on turbonetics is the same as the T04 series with a different compressor housing?

(Dragon and RX7Kid contradict each other)
