Anyone know anything about the Turbonetics T72? All i know is its a ball bearing turbo, pretty big, maybe about the size of a T78. Supposed to spool faster. I don't think it comes as a kit for the rx-7 either, so everything would have to be pieced together along with some custom fabrication. Also, are these turbos rebuildable?

The ball bearing T-72 is very good. What A/R and trim is it? All Turbonetics turbos can be rebuilt.

An A/R of .81 or .96 would probably work well. .81 would spool up a little faster, but .96 will make a little more top end.

A guy I know is running it in his mkiv supra. He was at the track the other but overheated the car due to the fans not working properly so I didn't see what he ran. I want a ball bearing turbo, but ones like the rx-6 are just too darn small. I want something the size of a t78 but with faster spoolup.

Is he selling it? If yes then let me know the specs on it.

Let's start a good old flame war, just like they have in the "other" forum.
