Ss Fuel Line Hookup
#1
Are you guys with SS lines just welding a steel fitting onto the stock pump output line (for those that use it still) on the fuel pump bracket to attach the feed line? I'd like to get something in with this order I am putting together for Summit, curious which fittings work best.

I'm not. My setup uses -6 steel braided hose that's hose clamped down from the feed line to the stock metal lines going up. Then at the front of the car, one line is hose clamped down, then -6AN straight, earl's fuel filter, -6 AN striaght, steel braided hose, -6AN 90 degree swivel into a -6 to 1/2 npt adapter tapped into either the top feed 1680 rail or the stock 550 rail.

what jspecracer7 said is the easiest way to do it. there are obvious variations to the way he did it, but the *idea* is there for you to make your own desissions.
i actualy started to make (but stopped) replacement pump fixtures/ plates for FD's. it was just to much hassle for what it was worth. i was starting to work with Tony (badog) on a setup we could both have input on... but again there was to much on my end to make it worth it for anyone. basicly it would allow the use of AN fittings throughout and replace the whole thing from the plate down. the one main thing that stopped me was the damn level sensor....
