Well I worked on it today and made some progress. I ended up welding it after I took that pic tonight.

Think it will work?

Very nice. That looks like it'll work.Just need some clamps on it.I don't think masking tape will hold up. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I could stare at your car for hours. :yum:

Thanks for the approval guys. Today I'm going to try to mount my oil cooler under the drivers side headlight. Hope it will fit,https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif the tape measure says it's close.

wow, got some mad loot going into this project, why didn't you just save the money and use a stock oil cooler? i heard those are the best.

setzep 02-09-2003 09:40 PM

Haha, mad loot... The oil cooler I got for free complements of the scrap bin at work:bigthumg: but I did have to fork over 58 bucks for the fan from summit. I ditched the stock oil cooler because I didn't have any room for it anymore after I installed the I/C and I sure as hell didn't want to mount it infront of the I/C;). Here I'll show what I did to avoid mounting it in front of the I/C.

it's a tight fit but it's in there good and not rubbing up against anything. I'm still going to have to do some ducting work though so the cooler can get some air.
