Is 100 octane enough to safely run 20 psi boost? My timing is at about 15 degrees advance if I recall correctly.

You can run 20psi on pump 93 with water injection with 14 or 15 degrees timing. Its pushing it to the limit, but its possible. I run 18-19psi on pump 93 and have for the past year and a half with no problems. I think people get 15psi max stuck in their heads and don't realize you can go higher.

I'm not running water injection.

I used to run 18 PSI on 93 with my timing set at 10 degrees BTDC for full boost/RPM. 100 octane should be ok, but I would bump the timing down a little to be on the safe side.

I run 14 degrees after 15psi.
