theyr'e definitely retards. I've since switched to another new Type R that works as it should. Only difference is the spring. Standard vs. heavy duty. If you use the std. spring, it'll blow at lower psi ratings. You'd think the guys at GReddy would know this.

I know everyone has an opinion about BOV's but I was told by a very reputable turbo manufacturer that BOV's are the biggest cause of turbo failure that they see. Improperly adusted they create compressor surge and when they leak boost they cause the turbos to over work. Don't take my word for it, but this is what the guy told me.
