lmfao. That's dual BOV(blow off Valves) Wastegates connect to the exhaust manifold between the engine and the turbo.

Depends on the CFM of the turbo, I have seen the makings of twin Greddy Type R BOV's on someone CYM FD 20b project with a T-76 on it, but I can't say who it is yet :P

is there any point to 2 wastegates? why not just get 1 good one, will certainly be cheaper.

Reasons for dual wastegates are :

1 For me both valves were cheaper than one large one.

2 Because of the size of my turbo I "designed" my set up for the quickest spool , so I did a custom tubular header with 2" id runners, and a wastegate for each runner , so as to avoid exhaust pulses interacting and WEAKENING each other.

3 They will out flow one large one , so I should be able to use them for any turbo in the future.

4 they just look F@##kin BAD *** !!!!
