Can someone please explain how the base duty setting on an apexi ecu affects the actual boost setting? I don't quite understand it. i have a to4r I want to tune and it's my first time playing with a datalogit.

Pretty simple actually. The higher the boost setting duty cycle, the more air the boost control actuator allows to push on the top of the wastegate, which in turn increases boost.

Cheers Jspec,

So in theory then if boost is set to 1kg cm2 Depending on the base duty cycle I may well not hit my actual boost setting if my base cycle is too low or I may exceed it if it's too high ?

Or do I just play with it on the dyno and see it responds ?
