Blow-off valve
#1
Gentlemen (and ladies if any)
Is it worth while to install a blow-off valve? Does it really prolong the life of ones turbo, or does it do nothing more then make a cool sound.

Winters coming and I'm pissed, bring out the temp.....

The stock BOV is small.. upgrading to a bigger one will extend the life of the thrust bearings in the turbo... The cheap gay ones that whoosh are worthless.. I would recoment the :bow:Greaddy Racing one.. It kicks ***.. :bigthumg:

hehehe, I saw an MR2 turbo at the shop where my truck is at.. That thing had an HKS BOV and it was loud, it looked ridiculous in the engine compartment cause it was the only aftermarket item on a totally stock engine..
Is there a good BOV that makes very little or no noise.. I don't want advertise that my truck has turbo to the world.. I just want the benefits..
