Anti Surge Housing For To4r?
#1
is there a way to fit a anti surge compressor housing on a to4r, i know that the to4z is the most likely candidate for this since they are the exact same size, but i also know that they are almost impossible to get without spending the 2k for the turbo.
so are there any other available housings?
im curious because i can hear compressor surge even when im not boosting (i havent boosted my car in 2 months btw) if i suddenly let go of the gas pedal, i instantly hear a couple or a few flutters coming from my enginebay. i also just recently replaced the spring for my greddy type r with a standard spring, i havent really gotten the chance to notice the difference yet, since i havent been able to drive with the windows down

screw the adjuster bolt out as far as you can and see if that helps. Also check to make sure the the blowoff actually is opening. If it's been a while since you boosted, I have found that the shaft builds up corrosion and the bowoff will stick unless you take it off and open it by hand a couple of times by pushing on the valve.
