Default rx8 has bad idle and stalling issues.

i just installed a used engine on my car after blowing the coolant seals on the old one when my radiator cracked open.

after firing up the donor engine i am having idle issues and stalling issues. after 2K rpm or so the car runs fine. the problem is only at low rpms.

p0172 bank one to rich
p0301 misfire bank one
p2503out put voltage

so my guess is that the fuel isnt getting burned like it should. any ideas on what the problem could be?

i replaced maf, coils, wires. cleaned ssv and vdc.

im going to change the spark plugs tonight maybe they are faulty.

Do a compression check while you are at it.

I think" misfire bank one " is a bad coil, And would explain everything else.

What are your mods???? Why did u not change the whole ignition system at the same time? Bad plugs lead to bad plug wires and coils which cause misfires, which leads to bad cat. So if u changed ur ignition system unless warrantied u just wasted ur money. Cuz ur plugs if fouled and ignored are just gonna ruin every ignition system you install. Check ur cat too. Good luck keep posting ur progress.
