that is odd on a catback or a cold air intake, but I can definetely see it on a turbo.

Let me ask you both a question. How would the dealer react if I came in complaining about low power and whipped out dyno sheets to prove it? I also have that random missfire won't go away.

dyno confuses the car, seriously. its not just the rx8, my fd doesnt dyno right either, the boost curve is off on the dyno.

for the misfire, have you taken the car in to have it looked at/codes read? its not gonna fix itself

[/quote]When I dynoed the car it ran 164WHP and almost all the other dyno runs I see are around 180-185. The local dealers are all idiots. They reflash and scratch their heads. They don't seem to really give a **** whether I have a problem or not so the dealer is always my last resort. Anyway the misfire was gone for awhile and then resurfaced again the other day. I guess I have to suck it up and go back to the dealer.

Didn't Ryan have a multiple misfire code that nobody could cure? I believe it just needed the stomp on brake pedal 20 times thing to cure it, but it took a new engine for them to realize......
