I just finished this project about two months ago. It is a 1988 base model. Swapped to 5 lug brakes, FD rims with brand new Hancook tires. S5 Tails, bumpers & fenders.



Front and rear subframe were dropped/cleaned repainted along with the underside of the car. The rear end came from a s4 TII. A lot of the brake and suspension components were sandblasted, painted and rebuilt, SS brake and clutch lines.



Chassis wiring harness was extended and rerouted through the fender so the engine bay is extremely clean.



Also swapped over to a black S5 interior. I have a few minor things to finish with the interior but it is pretty close.



The motor is a 2000 LS1 out of a rear ended WS6 w/ the 6 speed T56. It has 63,xxx miles on it.



The only thing the car needs is paint. Right now it is flat black.



I am looking for a clean blown or roller, 5 speed FD, preferably the R1.



I have driven/ridden in a lot of fast cars and this one always puts a smile on my face. I am still amazed at the performance/mpg combination that this motor offers.
