We inserted a fresh battery and the car started right up on the first try!

The problem is it needs a new pilot (or throwout) bearing (makes noise when depressing clutch and changing gears), which is a cheap part – less than $10 (see link #1) – but the labor is expensive unless you do it yourself. So, this would be perfect for someone who has (or has access to) the tools necessary to do that. Additionally, I found that you can replace the whole clutch system, bearings and all, for under $200 while you’re at it (“RP Standard Clutch Kit” link #2).



It has a new wiper mechanical system, new tail lights, and new carpeting under seats. Has an aftermarket reflective strip along both sides (which I have never seen on another RX-7).
