FS: PA 1988 RX-7 SE - 80k orig miles, $2000
#1
88 SE non-turbo 4 lug - 80,450 original miles, clean title in my name, located in Northampton, PA zip 18067
$2000 with 17" wheels (as shown in pics) or $1600 with stock 14" wheels instead.
I've owned the car since 2000. I've done more than regular maintenance and never driven in snow/road salt. I've never overheated the car or anything stupid. This is my 5th RX-7 owned since early 90's. I've replaced several things on this car whether or not it was needed just due to the age of the car... very reliable. The car is mildly modified but very streetable.
Good:
- oil changes every 3k, Redline oil in trans and diff every 2 years, coolant and brake/clutch fluid changed every 2 years
- runs great, uses no oil (premix required with every fillup), never runs hot, no smoke, shifts good
- Clutchmasters stage 1 street clutch 10k miles ago
- within last 5k miles: new water pump, thermostat, fuel lines, fuel filter, coolant hoses, coolant, clutch master & slave cylinders, brake fluid, stainless braided clutch line, Mazdatrix stainless brake lines, new front rotors, calipers, HAWK HP+ pads, new rear pads, alternator, belts, front cover gasket and O-ring upgrade (read Mazdatrix FAQ on this)
-K2RD block off kit (rats nets removed, OMP removed (PREMIX REQUIRED), FC3S oil pellet (assures constant oil flow to rotors all the time), FC3S.org oil pedestal adapter with Autometer pillar mount oil pressure and A/F gauges
-Bonez high flow downpipe with high flow cat (six ports actually work and work good)
-Rotary Performance cat back dual exhaust (sounds great, very deep with NO typical rotary bumble bee chainsaw noise)
-fully cleaned manifolds and working auxillary 5/6 ports with new gaskets
-ported/polished/modded throttle body with port matched upper intake manifold
-new cone filter underhood air intake
-Racing Beat dual belt alternator and main pulleys
-new NGK plugs & MSD 10mm wires with heat sleeves
-Corksport rear strut tower bar
-Energy Suspension bushing kit (some rear bushings still need installed, come with car)
-Jaz oil catch can
-manual steering rack swap
-rear aero spoiler lip
-interior is very good except two cuts in rear trim where I had the rear seats installed at one point; both seats have minor rips in the seams like most FC's
-no rust other than one quarter sized spot on rear wheel well that I tried to fix a few years ago
Not Good:
-several small dings and a couple dents and key scratch I tried to fix on body (paint is glossy but all the dings just don't look good)
-removed the A/C, P/S, stereo system for lightweight (all wiring for stereo is there including harness and kit for a single din aftermarket head unit)
-needs new rear shocks BAD
The car passes inspection and emissions no problem and is good in PA until 02/2008. The car is streetable like I said but you may want to do some things to make it more comfortable as mentioned above. I run only premix because it keeps the engine cleaner and more reliable than the stock OMP system. I'll include extra premix and a funnel, spare intake manifolds, spare front bumper cover, custom fit car cover with purchase.
The car in the pictures has almost new (under 5k miles) 17x7" Drag DR11 wheels with Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712 tires in 215/45/17 size. They are z rated. If you don't want these rims, then the price is $1600 and instead the car will come with the stock 14" phone dial wheels painted gunmetal with Falken Azenis tires with about 90% tread left. These stock rims/tires will be included with the car also if you but it with the 17's.
Please PM if interested. I'm off the week of 5/14 so I should be available almost any time that week if you want to come and look at it/drive it.

couple other annoying things I forgot to mention in original post:
-due to the throttle body mod, you need to let the car warm up before driving or it will have trouble idling when you come to a stop. You can either swap in a stock throttle body, or just let it warm up before driving. Once warm, it idles rock solid at 750 rpm, no problems.
-windshield washer fluid reservoir has also been removed... I have it and will include with car
If you know nothing about RX7's and are looking for a daily driver that needs nothing, then this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for a fun car, hobby, project, etc that can be daily driven when needed and you are familiar with these cars, then you know this is a good deal on a great car.
