Fs: 94 Touring Mbm 60k Original Miles...
#1
My car is a 94 Rx7, owned by 2 other guys before me (Both engineers), original owner was on the "Big List" I believe (David Breslau, Widefootracing). It's a Touring so it has the Bose stereo and a glass sunroof, leather seats and whatnot. Also an R1 front lip, fog lights, mud guards.
Selling point of the car is that both owners before me knew what they were doing since day 1, and I've only furthered that.
The car is essentially "Stock", but yet everything that should be updated/added/replaced is done. Other than buying a blown FD, this is the only other type of car to buy, IMHO. It's stock, unmolested, and you know what parts have what mileage on them (Have receipts for almost everything), plus at 57k it had a compression test and results were great!
So what was done?
Oil Pan Replaced/Re-Sealed
Koni Adjustable Shocks
Hawk HP+ Pads
Lightened Flywheel
New intake hoses, Radiator hoses (I have other hoses as well)
Aluminum AST
Dual Pillar Guage pod with K&S Knock Sensor, and Water Temp/Boost Gauge
Boost Gauge on modified steering Column (Lights up orange like stock gauges!)
*Newer* Stock Pre-Cat (Just bought a Downpipe..but...>)
M2 High Flow Midpipe (Don't want to do DP until I source/use stock Main Cat)
M2 Dual Exhaust (Quiet and Sexy!)
Oil Changes, Coolant flushes, Plugs/Wires done on schedule.
My car has a perfect 10-8-10 boost pattern. See's 175-179F in colder climates, 180F average on warm/hot days. A/C is recharged, blows cold. It has 61k on it now and I am on my way to doing another oil change, with a coolant flush & replacing the thermostat.
Only "Problems" are the odd clutch switch starting thing, and a CEL for EGR.
Roll cage may stay, if removed, previous owner gave me a 2nd set of stock parts cut into, as well as stock flywheel, another stock a-pillar, etc.
Reason for selling? I'll take half of what I get from the car and invest it towards real estate (once I add to it) in the near future. I may very well come back to the FD, given the other half (~$7k) is enough to perhaps buy a blown/rolling chasis.
However, I realise now, as I check the F/S forums, that a car of this calibur is a rare breed, and I have it so good with everything that should be replaced and maintained being done already. It's a 94, so the exterior paint is georgious, and so are all my interior parts. The car smells and feels damn new, like it's a 99 toyota or something.
$13k OBO is Fair, I feel. I'm in the big OC (Orange County) New York, e-mail me or PM me if you have any interest whatsoever (tigerdbr@excite.com)

Thanks bro. Not sure if it'll even leave my home yet, I just don't know
Treceb: LOL you can have it. I almost NEVER use it. I just never "cruise" in the car or feel it should be opened, all it does when open is allow the sun to beam in on my face despite my sunglasses! :P
Definitely wouldn't mind a hardtop next time around if that's the case.
