The car is an exellent condition black 93 R1 with 70k, new paint, and no emblems.

She went 11.7 with a 2.3 60 foot. 100mph in the 1/8th and just short of 129mph in the quarter. Yes, 129mph... it's a monster on the street.

I have cut consistent 1.75-1.80 60 foot times on drag radials. If I launched the car it would have been a 10 second pass. The car is still untuned and without a cold air intake so there's still more power in the current setup.

Amazingly, it's become sort of a legend in the north east florida area. I can hardly drive it without people saying they've heard of it or other's asking questions left and right.

Swap specs...

Very Clean install. Those that have seen it in person can vouch. The job I did on the wiring harness makes the engine look like it came in the car. I used the factory rx7 boot, soldered and rewrapped the entire harness. It's the cleanest swap I've seen to date.

99 LS1 (50k miles on the engine and trans)

Spec Stage 3 Ceramic clutch

Aluminum drive shaft (10.6lbs)

Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator (-6 braded line / earl's fittings)

fuel pressure gauge mounted on the rail (in place of the dampner)

NX Gen XII upgrade kit, purge, gauge, bottle heater w/regulator, fuel pressure safety etc.

All working stock gauges.

Greddy Turbo Timer

New Yokahoma AVS Intermediate tires

braided brake lines

powerslot front rotors

I can take more pics, but I'm putting a new clutch in and are about to refinish the interior dash trim so it'll look new again. I've decided that I want to sell the car after taking it apart. I'm about to start my quest for a 4 year degree and won't have as much time to play with the car. It already spends the majority of it's time sitting in the garage.

Asking 26k obo.

I'll post more pics when they are available.

Video of passes on a 100 shot and AVS Intermediate's. It hooks on BFG Drag radials, but I only have video of my first trip to the track on the 100 shot.

Btw, just to translate the 1/4 mph into hp..

To make those numbers, the car should be putting down around 480rwhp and 560ft-lb's of torque.

Remember, this is still without tuning.

ok, someone on another board didn't fully understand the numbers the car makes. Let me break them down real quick.

The car trapped just short of 129mph, (100mph in the 1/8th). It has run 11.4 with a 100 shot and 11.7 with a 2.3 60 rolling out of the hole with a 150 shot. The car cut's 1.7's on bfg drag radials and shouldn't have trouble cutting 1.6's on et streets. Reading between the lines you'll see the car will run 10's still with stock heads.

Excellent condition 3rd gen rx-7 r1 rolling chassis's sell for an easy 5-6k with out an engine trans, etc. An excellent condition stock R1 3rd gen rx-7's will sell for around 17K+.

If I have time, I'm going to put the car on a dyno for some tuning if it hasn't already sold. I know the car has 130mph trap speeds in it. And it's evident the car can produce 10 second time slips.

The price is listed as obo, and I do know it's a little higher than a stock fbody, but please understand that fast rx7's sell for these prices, and I'm not selling an fbody

I notice that I also forgot to mention the car weighs 2700lb's with half a tank of gas and still retains a perfect 50/50 weight distrobution.

Thanks again!

Damn there is a good bit of room in there, even with a LS1. Looks good.

Good luck

I still love rotaries, they just don't make the power I want reliably.

Thanks
