hey might sell my car if anyone is interested. so IM me on aim if u are at Shanemc6969, or emial me at jimmytong_tux@yahoo.com

Car: 1990 Black convertible rx-7

Engine: 87 Turbo 2 motor with 30k from jpn

Interior: Infinity speakers w/ panosonic mp3 cd player,(may come with amp hooked to speakers if someone wants me to) , also a pedal kit, and rezo shift ****.(not sure thats how u spell it) Leather interior in good condition. Driver's side has a tiny rip. Convert top is new and looks good.

Exterior: everything is stock. no effects other than a nice black t2 hood. It has a 3" downpipe, and 3" straight pipes all the way back with some big mufflers on the back. This car has 87 turbo 2 harness's, rear end, etc everything t2, so its pretty much the body of a convert w/ t2 everything. Power windows, manual top, heat/air works, everything works. Some scratches here and there but overall nice body.

Engine: Stock everything 87 T2 motor. Except a sheepdog blow off valve. ( from japan only, sounds badass)

I had the car for like a week and it started having problems. So I took it to MazCare and found out the compression sucked. It was supose to be a rebuilt engine from the guy I bought it from but he lied and ripped me off. So now we put a 30k engine in it and it runs perfect. Sold as is.

Price: bought it for 7, but I'll let it go for 6500 or obo. Don't lowball me plz, it's a super rare car, and moves fast.

Selling it Why???: ok, I'm in atlanta , GA and I have a drift group ( this car not been toyed with tho b/c I had to break it in when it had the rebuild and after we swapped it I havent driven it hard at all, now it sits in my garage) and ALL of my friends drive 240's with swaps. So they've finally talked me into loving 240's and now I really want a 240 w/ an SR swap. So I want to get rid of the rx-7, I jjust went to the Drift atl event here, and the FC's suck at drifting so I need to get a 240 if I'm going to do it. Thanks!! for pics IM me or emial me at the above addy's.

i know I was just kidding. I don't think I am good enough to drift one. They take more skill than a 240. I just wanna join the 240 club over here, I feel left out haha. but thx man.

LoL...Shane you're crazy

(he's my friend)

Yeah, the body is a 90 convertable and every single wiring harness was swapped from an '87 Turbo II, including the rear end/diff, suspension, and all that good stuff.

I've ridden in the car, and that thing is STIFF. Did you also know the convertables are like 200lb lighter and have an even stiffer chassis than an N/A? The car 1 of a kind. There's gotta be less than 10 in America that have been done the REAL way, that his was.

Vert was heavier by 300lbs I think and they have the same chassis, only the vert has a cross member going across the bottom of the car for my stability. And only 10 in America ? Doubt that

EVERY single wiring harness was replaced with the '87 turbo II wiring harnesses. And even having the suspension changed out too? Yeah, it IS rare.

At least in Georgia, I'd say he's got the only one. Him and I have met some wannabe T2 hood verts, but again, they're wannabes.
