My friends dad told him 3 months ago that he would buy him a 3rd gen RX-7 in 3 months. Now that it is time his dad wants to back out of the deal. I told him that this was going to happen but he thought his dad was serious. So just the other day his dad sat down and talked to him. His dad has a miata with some good suspension on it that he wanted to give to him. He had the miata in his position and poped a tire in a pot hole and his dad took it back. The header is now cracked and he told his dad to get a turbo kit. His dad said it was a good idea and to bid on one on ebay. 5 minutes later his dad bitched out again on him. So now he is kinda messed up and depressed about the whole thing. He is also a really good driver and has beaten me in the canyons with his miata.



Well short story short his dad messed him over and he is looking for a SR20DET 240 or a 3rd GEN RX-7 or even a 86 in Southern CALI.



So if you know someone that wants to sell or you have seen some car for a good price near southern cali can you please write back.

 

search the classifieds and recycler. and if he is depending on his dad to get his car. i hope his dad is willing to maintain a fd or sr20

 

Tell your friend to be a man, get a job, and buy his own car. What makes him think his dad owes him a car? Who cares what he said...is he gonna be a cry baby or do what everyone else does and EARN IT?

Let me guess..... Daddy is loaded and you guys dont have to work. That makes me sick cause these are the kids that get what they want, get into accidents and get tickets and make MY insurance go up because I am in that so called age bracket, when I dont do one bad/stupid thinkg with my car. I agree 100%. I'm tired of this ****. I had to work all summer at shitty taco bell to buy my fc! My friend works at McDonalds for 1 week and his parents buy him a 2002 Honda S200. You know what he did once he got the car! He quit! A month later that basterd totaled it and his parents got him a turbo 3rd gen rx7! I feel bad for your FRIEND when he's 25 still living in his parents basement and trying to sneak his gay boyfriend in. Lazy F***!!!

i hate those lil bastards! i had to bust my *** just to buy my first ride- 93 toyota corolla DX- 4 Dr grocery getter. every single thing i did to it was the result of me busting my *** for money- i spent over 1K$ in suspension on that car, 1K in stereo(just to have it stolen) nearly 2K$ in a turbo kit i made myself that i only got to drive with for 2 weeks til the bastard blew up. you know what my parents got me? a ride to work for 2 weeks til i bought my 85 CRX. now its about to croak and im sellin it and the rx7 so maybe i can afford 1 DSM. god, must be soo nice to be spoiled!
