I picked up a 87 Tii recently with the intent to build into a fast daily driver. I sold my n/a and I was planning to take the money to rebuild the motor.



It is artic silver with blue interior, has about 114k on it, hasn't been registered since '99 (all late fees have been paid) and I put on a '05 sticker from my other car to drive it home from the previous owners house.



Here is what has been done to it:



-New PD

-Fuel filter

-spark plugs

-A pillar gauge pod with HKS boost gauge (installed) and Autometer water temp (not installed)

-Racing beat oil adapter for gauges (not installed)

-O2 sensor

-thermostat.

-Koyo rad

-Tenzo R blue streering wheel

-New water pump

-New belts

-Radiator hoses

-Shifter bushings

-1st gen HKS BOV



The car is in overall pretty good condition, has damage to the passenger side quarter panel, the damage is not bad, but the car might have a salvage title from it.



The car runs strong, boosts well, but it does smoke, I'm not sure if it is the turbo, or the oil seals, it does not smoke much, if you are standing outside the car you can see the smoke, but from inside (rear view mirrow) you can't see any smoke.



I can provide you information for a S4 TII motor for sale in Los Angeles, with 20,000 miles on it. The seller is asking $1000 for that motor.



Interior is good, just a bit dirty, the car runs very stong, pulls very hard, tranny shifts smooth, clutch is still strong. Brakes work well.



I am asking $2000, just to make back what I spent on it.



I am firm on the price because I do not need to sell, my reason for selling the car is that my mom just purchased a new car, and gave me her Lexus Sc400, and I've decieded the Sc400 is a better car for me to take to school next year, so I am probably going to leave the rotary world for a bit.
