I don't know if its the original engine or not. Engine runs strong, starts right up. It does have a shut off switch for the injectors because as you know, rotary injectors leak down after they get over a number of miles and flood the engine.(the girl who had it before me had it put in and I have the paperwork to show that.) The 5th and 6th ports were stuck shut when I got it and I freed them up. (shows she didn't rev it up past 3800 very much.) She also had new rear mufflers put in and sway bar bushings.
I've got it in autotrader starting fri and for the next two weeks. I've had it for a little less than two years and have put aroung 10K on it. I bought it because the ship I work on was going to be in the shipyard for a year and I had to commute about 10-15 miles a day for about 14 days a month. After I stopped having to commute I liked it so much that I kept it. I'm only selling it because the wife says that she is going to help me buy a TurboII or third gen. and I can't turn an offer like that down. I paid a lot more for it than I want and I believe its a good deal. I'm 58 years old and a marine engineer(I work on marine diesels to 5000hp), so I don't beat my equipment.
