that exterior has a lot of issues.

dents all over the place, messed up paint in several places.

Plus, the interior is thrashed

I'll give you 1000 for it. Straight up, cash. I'll pick it up.

your $1000 will pay for the cam's if you want to buy that. This car is by no means emaculate or a show car. Its very much a project. Consider the amount of money ive spent. Thats why ive added pictures. If I didnt want you to see what you were getting into I wouldent have sheot posted. But realy please keep in mind alot of my time and money went into this car, it by no means is trash but for someone whos interested, as you sound should be more respectable as a potential buyer. Otherwise keep your money, in time ill get what I want either a FC or a round about number in the figures ive displayed at the top of this topic. If you want a corolla may I suggest you find your self a sr5 with a 4ac that maybe a little more in your price range?

Thanks,

Myrone

there is only one reason you're asking that much for a car in that kind of condition.... Initial D.

When one of my good friends bought one in high school, he picked it up for 750$ with just as much done to it as you have, and it looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. You can't ask 3500$ for any car in that sort of shape. I wouldn't even buy a Porsche 959 in that kind of condition for anywhere near 3500$. I mean... the seats are all chewed up, most of the carpet is missing, there's body damage all over the place, and the paint is oxidized. The car is gonna need some major clean-up work before it looks like a 3500$ pre-90's Toyota. I know Eight-Sixes are a hot item right now, but you're just asking too much to be reasonable.

My offer was dead serious. I will come down there on Feb. 20th, hand you a thousand dollars, and even buy you lunch and a beer before I head home. I'm not some clueless fanboy that's going to wreck your car two months after I buy it because I wanted to get my Takumi Fujiwara on up on the mountain... I'm a serious car guy, and I've been an Eight Six fan since I was 12. And, I'm not interested in a 4AC SR5 Corolla... nor do I want a Nine Two.

I am seriously one of the coolest people out there... but I can't stand to see this kind of thing. I paid 950$ for my 88 GTU. It was straight-bodied with a perfect interior, and a solid engine. An 88 RX-7 GTU is worth a lot more than any Eight Six should be.

I'm sorry if I sounded like an *** at all... I'm just tired of this bandwagoning nonsense. FC's, S13's, and Eight Sixes used to be a dime a dozen. Now, in post-Initial D America, it's damned hard to find any of those cars for anything even approaching a resonable price. Even a crappy S13 usually runs about 2K. You have to take condition into consideration when you sell a car. If you want to turn a profit when you sell a car, start a dealership, or part the thing out. You ALWAYS lose money when you sell a car person-to-person.

Lastly... I never said your car was trash. I merely noted the condition of the interior, the body panels, and the paint. That's an impressive list of mods, and I'm sure the car screams. I would at least like to go for a ride in it when I'm in Cali later this month.

now, if it were a JSpec Turbo'd 4AGZE with an aftermarket intercooler, turbo timer, electronic boost controller, and a Haltech with IDA throttle body, rolling on a set of old Panasport or RS Watanabe wheels, and some sick Z-Rateds... I'd be counting out the 3500 on your doorstep by now....

Yes the car is overpriced even by my standards, no its not inital d that caused that, its that im trying to come out even, price is negotiateable. I got this car for $900, Ive got a $800 exhaust on it, $500 race ported 4agze head, $1000 HKS cams, $200 AEM cam gears, Soo seriously im actualy trying to come out even, I dont want to sound like an ***, I seriously thought you were a ae86 horder that turns them into carpet queens. Thats why I got all up in arms, id rather have someone beat the **** out of this car buy it cause thats what its made for. But yeah its super hard to find a hachi roku, especialy one thats decently priced im totaly on there with you, and most people do hoard them and turn them into carpet queens, but im just trying to break even.

Thanks, Myrone

not at all, man.... not at all.

What I want is a car I can enjoy. I want a little project on my hands, so I can work on it, drive it like it was meant to be driven, and make it faster, little by little. Maybe even a Levin front end conversion somewhere down the line...

Added plus, is the fact that my wife loves Eight Sixes as well (you have no idea how sexy it is to hear a woman say "Eight Six").

Here's my last offer.... 1500$ cash, and you keep the GReddy exhaust system. I'll have to put off the day I head out there a little, but I'll still buy her. If you turn down the new price, I'll understand.

This is the kicker, though..... if the car hasn't sold by the time I get back from tech school, I'll give you 2500$ for it.
