1980 Csp Ready Rx-7 For Sale
#1
The 1980 Rx-7 is officially for sale. $1100 firm.
Performance enhancements:
Gutted interior (just a dash and two seats)
Straight-through exhaust with Cherry bomb muffler
Racing Beat front sway bar and adjustable rear sway bar
Racing Beat springs
KYB GR-2 shocks and struts (maybe 9,000 miles on them)
Kumho Ecsta V700 175/60r13 tires mounted on the OEM alloy 'waffle' (6 events on them, a lot of life left)
Rat's nest removed off engine
Rebuilt carb (new gaskets, floats, springs)
Changed to mechanical secondaries on stock Nikki
"Lowe's Racing" Cold-air intake
New wheel bearings put on about 14,000 miles ago
The engine just rolled over to 114401 at the last autocross and is original to the best of my knowledge. It runs strong and starts very easily (although it may need a new or rebuilt starter).
The body needs a bit of body work and needs to be painted. The rear bumper is missing. The door locks have been "shaved" along with the rear license plate holder.
This is a great car for anyone interested in having a autocross/track only vehicle. It might not be the most competetive CSP car but it's got a lot of potential and would be great for learning RWD tactics and strategies.
Located in Chesapeake, VA and willing to deliver in the Hampton Roads area. Further than 50 miles, we'll make arrangements. Car is not street legal.
