WTB: 12A running motor....
#1
I am looking for a running 12A to drop in an '85 i just got. actually, i only need the short block, but i figured if possible a whole motor would be better... Never can have too many parts... i guess im more lookin for a stock 12A, but if anyone has one that has stuff done to it, it would be considered. i also considered a 13b swap out of my '87, but learned that there would be a lot more work than expected, and im on a limited budget and a time cruntch... any help in sellin me a motor or helpin me find one would be greatly appreciated... also, does anybody know how to do a good bridgeport on a 13b... thats the next project...

I have a carbed 13b if you want it, should drop right in, compression tested and guranteed
also have a engine thats fuel injected, but that would be a bit more work
OK, sounds good. Can you give a lil more info. Miles, condition overall, price, is it stock or not? ect.... thanks

it compression tested at over 100psi on all 3 faces, its a j-spec engine, comes with a start up and 1 week gurantee ,which is more then any other rotory j-spec dealer right now if im not mistaken. That compression reading was taken when it arrived, it was not achieved by tricking the engine with ATF, we did put some MMO in it after compression testing for storage.
Cars registered in Japan must meet very strict and comprehensive tests, initially after 3 years and then every 2 years. The cost of complying with these test standards can run as much as 30% of the vehicle value. There are few cars over 6 years old still in service. Cars are recycled early.
its a complete engine, originally came with a automatic tranny so that means you can use the couterweight if you go with a lightned flywheel, you can come pick it up in person or I can ship it out the very day you pay for it and you can then expect it in less then 7 days, most people get thiers in 5 days or less
$850, it will be cleaned before delivery, banded, and shipped on a pallet
