Fs: 1st Gen Lightweight Flywheel
#1
Great condition 13B flywheel, no counterweight. The flywheel was bought in 10/03 and used on the car for about 400 miles before my motor took a dump. I wanted the extra torque of the stock flywheel for drag racing, plus to slow the 13B down to control wheel spin, so I installed a factory flywheel on the new 13B. As stated, the condition is great. I purchased it from Racing Beat, part # 11442. They sell it for $372. Mine is $200 and I will ship anywhere in the lower 48 States for free. Anywhere outside of the lower 48, I will charge actual shipping. Email for pictures and questions. PayPal accepted, too.

Check out my post in the 1st gen specific (my $250 car) and that will help you out, and to save alot of typing. I will soon have some current numbers from the track with the new 13B and I will post them when I have them.

The biggest thing that I fighting with the supercharger is heat control. I am in the deep South part of Alabama, so it gets i hot and muggy down here. Today was close to 95 with lots of humidity and the car was running a steady 190-195. Not hot, just more hot than I prefer.
I still have some tweaking to do. I have to fabricate a new alternator bracket because the one I have on there now is keeping me 6 degrees off from the timing I need to be (the distributor is making contact). The factory 12A one is too short, and the universal one that I using is ground down but I can't go any slimmer without truly risking structural integrity of the bracket. I am going to try to cut and weld 2 12A alt brackets together to get the correct curvature and length. I will soon install some hood vents for more heat control, or should I say dissipation. With the hood off, the 13B stays 150-160 so I am hoping by relieving some heat build-up, my temp will stay down.
Hope that helps.
