I think once and for all someone should finally explain what this damn thing is, and where it gets hooked up.



I'm sorry, but to just send $300 to buy some "thing" is absurd to me.

Im willing to bet its an ignition timing controller that uses ion-sensing technology to "read" the combustion process, and alter the ignition timing accordingly. Ion-sensing does for ignition what O2 sensors do for air/fuel ratio.



Saab has used it on production cars, and theres a lot of info to be had on the internet. Happy hunting, and I hope I didnt spoil the "secret."
