While I'm searching back through old posts i thought i would ask if anyone has put a rotary in a spitfire ? i have seen the RO-SPIT in grass roots racing but that is the only one i have ever seen . i have a really nice 72 spitfire and a nicely built 84 12a motor with an rx7 5 spd. it just seems like natural combination !

Thats awsome! How much do you think a '72 splitfire cost. I will soon have a spare 12A tranny combo I could use in one as a street toy. Have to say the power to weight must be very nice.

Here is another RX-Spit I found. Grassroots did an awsome job on there car, but to me the rear suspension is a big problem. Grassroots did a lot of work ($$$$$) to get the rear to hold the power. I saw the Grassroots car at a show 2 years ago and I'd love to run against it
