Yes you read that right. I had a 787b triple turbo. Well not exactly. What I really had was my 90 TII with my buddy's 3rd gen motor in the back. What I did was take my friend's motor to Fort worth so that Gotham Racing could rebuild it. Sorry I didn't mean to decieve you(welll yeah I did). I just thought it sounded cool.

First thing I was thinking was, that's gotta be a weird looking exhaust manifold

Gotcha!!!! Anyways, his motor was stock except for a Greddy 3row FMIC, Jacobs plug wires, downpipe, and N1 catback. He was probably putting down about 270whp(estimation no dyno runs). I just talked to Steve and Chris at Gotham Racing and they told me that the motor is baically screwed. They said he blew all 6 apex seals. They said that the fuel anomizers from his primary injectors fell into the combution chambers and destroyed all of his seals. Since all of the seals went out the exhaust ports he also needs his turbos rebuilt. I was like holy **** I didn't know you could blow all 6 seals. Since all 6 seals went and caused so much damage to the internals they can't rebuild the motor. They suggested getting a Mazda reman and have it ported. They said this would be cheaper than buying new housings, rotors and the other things needed to rebuild an engine with this much damage. They also said that the wiring harness needs to be replaced. Basically the cost went from $6,990 for a rebuild with a large street port, BNR stage 3 turbo upgrade, PFC w/ commander and 1600cc sec., 850cc pri., fuel rail mod, fuel pump, and pressure regulator to $7,640( additions being Mazda reman, wiring harness, gasket kit, port job, and change from BNR stage3 turbo rebuild to BNR stock rebuild). Exspensive isn't it.

Yeah I wish I had pics of a 787b. I really wish I had one in my car.
