[quote name='j9fd3s' date='Aug 13 2005, 11:25 PM']this is a little late in the game but the rednecks put a fitting into the exhaust so it pulls a vacuum on the crankcase, apparently that helps seal the piston rings better.

Not late at all.

Yes, Jegs and Summit sell the kits with check valves in them. I thought about doing that. Basically the same thing as how our stock setup is...'cept its on the intake side, has a PCV valve. In other words, a negative pressure source helping to pull crankcase vapors out. Still potential in that.

Latest update on my situtation is that I get into a "venting issue" at about 20psi. The quantity of fluid in my catch can after the same series of event from before has gone down. Now, everytime I fillup the gas tank I drain the catch can if it needs. Used to be every day. Half a dozen runs at 20+ psi would need a drain. Now, about 30 runs and I might need to drain it.

Main difference has been the oil restrictor (yes, Sean, you need one on the GT40r when your engine holds 100+psi from 2500rpm on) and the bigger an-10 sized 90 dregree elbow on the vent link tapped into the filler cap.
