Ok well today found out my car isn't what i thought, i thought it had a full t04e on it but it is simply a hybrid.... but i am quite sure the engine has been rebuilt.

now to my question I'm thinking about grabbing a spare engine and building it on the side waiting for my turbo or motor to pop.

I want to build up a nice big ported large turbo'd engine.

I've heard the 13b-re would be better to build off of, is this true? Would the parts i do have on the 13bt be able to go over to the 13b-re or would i need to get rid of somethings i have on there already?

also can a haltech be used on a 13bre?

basically whats different between bre and bt.

kevin.

edit: also where would be a good place to buy one, not looking for a rebuilt one, unless it's cheap, as id like to build it from scratch basically.

if you are building an engine a 13B-RE is slightly better. a haltech can control any 2rotor

i don't really see a need for anything other than a S5 13BT... its pretty damn close to a FD engine and if you port it even better!
