I'm going to be porting my engine (S5 turbo) using the racing beat street port templates, but looking at the engine, the intake ports in the center housing are significantly smaller than the ports in the end housing. Theres just one template for both, so am I just supposed to make them both the same size? It also looks like I'm goign to have to take out a good amount of material for ports on the center housing to match the template, more than I was expecting anyway.

Nooo!!! The primaries (center housing) are supposed to be smaller.

You will have to find some sort of template.

Please do some more research some more.

I hate to see your next thread say " **** I ate through the water jacket!"

Before you take on a porting project make sure you have a good idea what is what and then go about porting it.You never want to have to tear it down to rebuild the engine once its back together.

The center housing just needs a mild port with some good flow. Don't use the racing beat template for the center plate. Like most of the guys posted, do more research.
