This is in my 73 RX2. It looks worse than it is. I will probably have it painted over winter. Oh yeah, for the time being, I am going to be running a blow through carb. Did an Ito port when I had it together. Still a lot of work, hope to have it running by spring. -Shawn

Looks like a fun project! How the hell are you going to fit that intercooler up front??

Haha. I knew I would get someone. That intercooler was given to me from a friend who works at Freightliner. I would use it as cores to build other intercoolers. That intercooler is the size of my hood! Thanks again.

Looks like fun! Good luck.

BTW, how did you get the rotors so clean?

I had united auto put them in some kind of boiling solvent, and the only bad thing it did was make the copper show on the bearings, but I replaced them anyways. Cost me $20 for the pair.

Yeah, I'd really love to see more pictures of the manifold. I'll be making a manifold similar to that one for an fc real soon. Placement is about the same.

I don't have the wastegate runners in yet, but it will sit in front of the engine, by the waterpump. I have to seal up the motor and tie up some loose ends on it and then go from there.

Here are some more pics with the engine out of the car.
