Need A Flywheel Removal Tool In Nj/nyc Area

Using your name as an example, all you need is a high frequency tone to ring through the flywheel. Tap it with a (metal) hammer on the outer edge and maybe wedge something behind it (not all the time though since a prybar will tend to lessen the ringing). The vibration will help disconnect the taper press joint of the flywheel and eccentric shaft. It's always worked for me. Oh, be sure to keep the 54mm nut on a couple turns if you like having toes.

To remove the nut, I noramlly rent this puppy from teh local rental store, for about $30 a day after tax. (it breaks the nut in less than 10 seconds)
I then use a 2X4 against the flwheel, and then tap it with a 5 lbs hammer. Flywheel removal and installation in less than 10 minutes

I made my own puller from a short length of 1/4" X 2" steel. I just drilled it to match the holes near the center of the FW, bolted it down hard across the loosened FW nut and whacked it a few times with the metal side of a dead-blow hammer. Worked like a charm both times I used it.

Is this tool good to get it back on, too?
