yeah im doing it. For my renesis motor.

And i have seen finished product ones on 13b's and a few piston cars. usually use the gsxr ones or the hayabusa ones. i got mine for 30 bucks on ebay. its really simple too. there info out there for the tps wiring. and making the four runners is pretty easy also.

what do you need to know...?

Always wondered about using 2 Chevy TPI tbs, stock size is 48mm, and you can get 54mm for about $180 a piece

I thought Tyson used Honda RC51 throttle bodies on his n/a p-port setup, he had an engine build thread somewhere with pictures. I thought he drove the car a lot after that, but my memory is fuzzy.

I did.

RC51 TBs are huge,

Pics and video

I thought i was buying the 2001 and earlier 54mm throttlebodies, but I got the 2002 or later 62mm throttlebodies. E-Bay, what can you say?

Anyway, throttle tip-in was a biatch, probably due to the giant throttle bodies and not enough tuning time, or possibly my peripheral port or all in combination.

You can't get the throttle bodies close enough to each other to make the runners parallel, hence the splayed runners you can see in the pictures. From my research a few years ago you might have a real problem finding TBs from 4 cylinders that are big enough, although that might not be a problem now, since bikes make a lot more power even in the last few years. The linkage of a 4 cylinder set might be hard to change to use only 2 of them, but you're customizing so who knows.

Big advantage to buying bike ones off E-Bay from a wrecker is that they might come fully assembled. 4 550cc injectors, TPS and MAP sensor included. Even the manual choke if you need it.
