im looking for a good S5 turbo rotor housing. i have gotten two bad ones so far and payed over 400 bucks for bad parts. sould have seen the last one i got. looked like it had been powder coated and then over heated. even the water passages were black. i would like to just scrape all the black off the outside and paint it but im not sure it can be used......the steel insert(combustion wall) is not flush with the edge of the housing. it allmost looks like it shifted inside the cast just alittle bit to one side...is that normal? can it be used?

i have lots and lots of S5 NA parts. let me know if you need something i probley have it....i mean it i have alot of stuff over here and need to make room

Welcome to nopistons! You have to have a certain number of posts before you can post in the classifieds, I'm not sure how many off the top of my head.

Do you have pics of the insert not lining up? I'm sure you could get some great answers if you posted a pic.

seriously this housing is ugly. i would say that the steel insert is pushed to one side about the thickness of this razor blade. and pushed in on the other side about the same amount [attachment=46162:Photo0266.jpg][attachment=46163:Photo0265.jpg][attachment=46164:Photo0264.jpg]
