Aux Port Sleeves Removed?
#11
ok, removed the sleeves, the power sucks at low rpms, but around 3800 rpms it feels like boost kicks in. all i need now is to remove everything from the lim and port and polish and get new gaskets.

dont fool yourself with added power and GETTING power at certain rpm, u dotn feel power changes when the sleeves are working, while u do feel a "kick" when running without them, doesnt mean the car isfaster u just feel the CHANGE in power, the gains without sleeves are minimal and if u are ok with less low end and happier abotu teh top end u gained then so be it. but dont fool yourself with the "KICK" and thinking its more power

Some carb cleaner and a bit of elbo grease would get those working again. Its prolly just gummed up with carbon. I would think that if your willing to go throught the effort of pulling off all the stuff it would be just as easy to get them working.

yeah its only like a 2 hour job.
mine with the sleeves open all the time felt like a single turbo, it had NOTHING under 4500, and then it would come on the powerband about 6000 and peak at its normal 6800....
vs the working 6 ports power everywhere
