All The Seals Are Pushed In And Stuck
#1
Ok I bought a blown TII engine
I opened it up
1 housing was damaged
the other was good
and the rotors have no damage
except all the seals have collapsed i.e there all the way in on the grooves
I cleaned the rotors(big time "dry" crode all over)
got 1 apex seal loose
and used that with a small hammer
to push the others off
had to use a flat screwdriver to push the corner seals to the side
and then use the apex seal and hammer to get them off
Now the side seals!
How the hell do I those off?
do I need a jewlers flat screw driver of something
or should I soke them in engine cleaning ACID?
