Got some inspiration yesterday and stayed at work for a little update :)
Half way there :) https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 Tada! https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 I went well, but I had some luck! There will be tight between the rims and caliper. But, if you remember, I can't move the brakedisc futher in. This is two old pics of the disc and chassi :) https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 And here is the result. Very small, but fun update :) https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1339828511 |

Finished the lower brackets for the Coilovers.
https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340289375 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340289375 Have changed my Cad a little. Moved the bracket 50mm to the center of the car, to gain 61.5° angle on the coil at rideheight, and 66.0° angle at full bump. This is what it looked lite before the change. https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340289375 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340289375 |

Today I got the spindle-surface straightend.
To be sure that the caliper and disc are in level. And also, to get a fine surface to attach to. https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340541135 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1340541135 |

I did some stabilizer bar knifes a while ago.
https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341066833 I am also satified with the IFS now. This will give me som adjustments and will be good at both road and hopefully track. https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341066833 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341066833 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341066833 Today I worked a little in the CNC. Today I did a mockup to see that the coilover-lenght could ba about right, and that the angles looks good in the car.
I also got som used rear tires, also to mockup and make sure the fit later. 225/45-17" Front 255/40-17" Rear https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341515987 http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1557.jpg Attachment 16095 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341515987 |

I recieved a rod yesterday, Delrin, for bushings. My wife is happy with me as I am :) Coming to these using a stainless steel sleeve model 16x2mm.
https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341678012 This is what it would look like, as common. https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341678012 Then today I got to work hard because I do not have access to laser-cutter. Began to mill as deep as I dared, without them to come off, and the plate begins to vibrate and break the cutter. Then there has been much handwork! Good for me, to practice a bit. Continued on these! https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341678012 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1341678012 |

Came up with an new idea about the Camber-adjustment. Simple to adjust with only one tool, and no need for deassembly anything around it.
https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1342640999 4pc Ø30mm steel. Did not have the possibility to use the CNC-lathe tonight, so it has been some therapy in the manual lathe. M20x1.5 thread for streanght and good adjustments. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1582.jpg https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1342640999 https://www.nopistons.com/attachment...ine=1342640999 |

Re: 4 Rotor Build in Sweden
How do you decide what angles to use for suspension? Is there a common setup to use, or is this something that requires lots of math and engineering for each application to figure out what's best?
