Whats The Best Seven For Drifting?

fc has always been a popular choice. They are cheap when you crash them, and easily modded to be great drifting cars. All rx7's have great balance and great handling ... so its hard to choose from that. But I would stick with the fc mainly because of its popularity in the drift scene...

Yes a FC is cheaper to Fix that a "FB" whatever the hell that is. A SA is expensive nowdays I would imagine it hard to get body panels.
I would put my vote down for a FD being a better car than the FC for drift....for the fact that it makes more power easier and has more adjustment for alignment and more options for suspension. Although more expensive for fix....only for body panels and A arms though.

Ok its a tossup hahahah my biggest problem with the FD is that its so damn small on the inside. with a roll cage I can put 4 wheels and tires in the back of my FC and drive to the circuit.
The FD is a better car but there are other things to consider as well. If you have a trailer or a chase car then a FD would be nice.

dude, an FD is not easy to drift. If you are a good drifter, you can do it, but learning how to drift in an FD is not advisable. They just do not like being sideways. They will either snap back or come around.
Even an FC isnt easy right out of the box. S13's and S14's drift in the dry like the fc drifts in the wet. No joke.

OH I know in our team Society we have a FC-me a S14-mike and a 86-Jim soon to be a soarer I think. I have driven and drifted everything under the sun.... If you have good tire selection and a good diff the FD and FC will do it no problem. I agree that when coming out of a corner or doing a transverse in a Seven is harder than in a Nissan....but its all in the accelerator timing and control for a 7.
Anyway the Choices were SA22C , FC3S or FD3S so I choose the FD. The FD is the obvious choice for the future. FC's are getting old and a lot of companies don't make parts for them anymore. All the new stuff and cool aero is coming out for the FD. That is why I choose the FD. The D1 champion this year is driving a FD so that is a statement in itself I would think.
